Claim Your Community →Every athlete on Team Canada Deaf Hockey earns their spot through skill, sacrifice, and years of training. But unlike most national teams, our players receive no government carding or major federation funding.
Each player personally pays $4,000 to $6,000 to cover travel, lodging, and registration, before a single skate, stick, or training session. Many are juggling jobs, school, and family while preparing to represent Canada on the world stage.
The Community Partner Program exists to change that. Every partnership directly offsets athlete costs, so the players who earned the right to wear the jersey aren't priced out of it.
This isn't a logo on a rink board that nobody reads. Hearing clinics and Team Canada Deaf Hockey share the same community: our players, their families, our alumni, and thousands of Deaf and hard-of-hearing Canadians who follow this team.

To keep exclusivity meaningful, territories are defined using official Statistics Canada boundaries, not guesswork.
Toronto, Montreal, Vancouver, Calgary, Edmonton, Ottawa-Gatineau are divided into zones based on municipal boundaries, so a partner in Surrey and a partner in Burnaby can each own their own community.
Cities like Victoria, Halifax, London, or Saskatoon are one exclusive territory each.

Your territory is set by your clinic's physical address. Territories are allocated on a first-come, first-served basis upon signed agreement and payment; once your community is claimed, it's off the market until renewal.

Community Partner funds go directly to offsetting player costs: travel, lodging, registration, and team training expenses on the road to Innsbruck 2027, including our national training camp at Western University in August 2026.
This is a sponsorship, not a donation; most partners fund it from their marketing budget as a community marketing investment. We'll invoice your clinic and provide everything your bookkeeper needs.
Community Partner status recognizes your support of the team. We don't rank, review, or clinically endorse partner clinics, and we're upfront about that with our community. What we do promote, proudly and often, is that your clinic stands behind Canada's Deaf athletes.
Yes, each location partners in its own territory at standard territory pricing. Chains interested in broader involvement can contact us about national opportunities.
Exclusive territories are first come, first served, but the Community Supporter tier is always open, and you'll get right of first refusal notice if your territory becomes available at renewal.
The current term runs through the 2027 Winter Deaflympics in Innsbruck ("Road to Innsbruck"). Partners receive renewal priority for the following cycle.
